Twenty-five things to do to bring peace with justice (isti tekst na engleskom)
JEDNA NAJAVA:
DISKUSIJA: Pokreti otpora u svetu - Grčka, Palestina
Mesto: Dom omladine Beograda, I sprat, Makedonska 22
Vreme: Subota, 17. januar, 18h
UN Blocks Access to Free Gaza Movement's Website, Jan. 15 Meeting in General Assembly Set
Globalna cenzura: Site Free Gaza Movementa je u UN-u blokiran.
Within the UN, this results in a message from the "ICT Security Unit" that "you have been redirected to this page because the site you are attempting to access is blocked according to the policy as detailed in ST/SGB/2004/15. This Secretary-General's Bulletin allows staff "limited personal use of ICT resources" unless these involve "pornography or engaging in gambling" or would "compromise the interests or the reputation of the Organization."
6 ministers to launch 'PR attack' abroad
Izraelska vlada šalje svoje ministre u inozemstvo da lažu o izraelskoj agresiji i zločinima u Gazi.
Ynet has learned that six ministers are scheduled to travel to countries that have a distorted public opinion on Israel's operation in Gaza in an attempt to change the situation. The ministers will meet with the leaders of foreign countries and appear in local media.
Israeli forces shell UN headquarters in Gaza
Shells also struck a hospital, five high-rise apartment buildings and a building housing media outlets in Gaza City, injuring several journalists. ... The U.N. compound in Gaza had only that morning become a makeshift shelter for hundreds of Gaza City residents seeking sanctuary from relentless Israeli shelling, said a U.N. official in Gaza. He spoke on condition of anonymity because he wasn't authorized to speak to the media. But shortly after, a shell hit the school, wounding three people, the official said. Two other shells hit a warehouse housing humanitarian supplies and a U.N. parking lot, he said. The U.N. compound houses the U.N. Works and Relief Agency, which distributes food aid to hundreds of thousands of destitute Gazans in the tiny seaside territory of 1.4 million people. U.N. spokesmen confirmed that at least three people were wounded but said the fire and smoke engulfing the compound made it impossible to know if it had been completely evacuated.
